Learn More About Using FSA & HSA Funds
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are tax-advantaged benefit plans that can be used for certain eligible healthcare expenses, as determined by your plan administrator.

Q: Are Amare products eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement?
A: In general, dietary supplements are not automatically eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. However, certain products may qualify if they are recommended by a licensed healthcare provider for a specific medical condition and you obtain the required approval depending on your individual plan. Eligibility is determined by your FSA/HSA administrator, so it’s best to confirm with them directly.

Q: Which products are eligible?
A: Eligibility varies by plan and individual circumstances. Most FSA/HSA plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity for supplements. Please check with your plan administrator to confirm what may qualify under your specific coverage. For general guidance on eligible healthcare expenses, visit IRS Publication 969.

Q: How do I submit for reimbursement?
A: After purchasing a product:
  • Save your itemized receipt from checkout.
  • If required, obtain a Letter of Medical Necessity from your healthcare provider.
  • Submit your documentation to your FSA/HSA administrator in accordance with your plan’s process.

Q: Can I pay with my FSA/HSA card?
A: We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you have an FSA/HSA card, it may work at checkout depending on your administrator’s rules. You may also use a personal credit or debit card to complete your purchase and submit for reimbursement, based on your plan. Please note that approval is determined by your benefits provider, and additional documentation (such as a Letter of Medical Necessity) may still be required.

Q: What if I return a product purchased using FSA/HSA funds?
A: If you have already submitted a claim for reimbursement, please contact your FSA/HSA administrator to determine any required next steps following a return.
