Getting Started

Q: How do I get started with TikTok Shop as an Amare Brand Partner?

A: It’s as easy as 1,2,3,4! Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Apply as a TikTok Shop Creator - 

Note: You must have at least 5,000 followers.

Go to TikTok → Profile → Menu (☰) → TikTok Studio → Monetization / TikTok Shop for Creator. Apply and submit your application.

  1. Add Your TikTok Handle & Accept the Amare TikTok Terms & Conditions

Go to: My Account → Social Media, Enter your TikTok handle (ex: @yourhandle).

This ensures your sales are properly attributed to you. You will also get a pop-up at this point to accept the T&Cs to participate in TikTok Shop.

  1. Wait for Your Invitation

You will receive an invite to join the Amare TikTok Shop. Please allow 2-3 days to receive the invitation.

  1.  Accept Your Invite & Add Products to Your Showcase

Once accepted, you can start tagging and selling products.

Q: What if I’m already a TikTok Creator?

A: If you’re already a TikTok Creator, you don’t need to sign-up again. Instead, simply request access to the Amare Shop.


Q: How do I join the Amare TikTok Shop?

A. Follow the steps below to join the Amare TikTok Shop:

  • Apply as a TikTok Shop Creator
    • Note: You must have at least 5,000 followers.
    • Go to TikTok → Profile → Menu (☰) → TikTok Studio → Monetization / TikTok Shop for Creator. Apply and submit your application.
  • Add Your TikTok Handle & Accept the Amare TikTok Terms & Conditions
    • Go to: My Account → Social Media, Enter your TikTok handle (ex: @yourhandle).

*Please note, the ability to become a TikTok Creator and sell through TikTok Shop is 100% up to TikTok. You may have 5000 followers and they may still not allow you to sell. Make sure you do not sign up as a seller. 

Q: How do I accept the Amare TikTok Shop invitation?
A: To accept the Amare TikTok Shop invitation, follow the steps below:

  1. Open TikTok Shop
  2. Click “TikTok Studio”
  3. Under Monetization, click the "View Details" button inside the TikTok Shop for Creator block
  4. In the TikTok Shop Toolkit section, select "Collab Invites" — this is where you'll find your Amare Global collaboration invite waiting for you!

Product Setup & Tagging

Q: Do I need to add products to my Showcase before tagging them?

A: Yes, you need to add products to your Showcase before tagging them. To add products to your Showcase, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your TikTok Profile 
  2. TikTok Studio
  3. TikTok Shop -> TikTok Shop Toolkit
  4. Manage Showcase
  5. Tap Add Product
  6. Search and add Amare products

A: To tag products in TikTok videos, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap Add Link
  2. Select Product Link
  3. Choose product from your Showcase
  4. Post your video

A: To add products to a TikTok LIVE, follow the steps below:

  • Tap Product Showcase before going live
  • Select products
  • Start your LIVE

Q: Why can’t I tag a product?

A: If you’re having trouble tagging a product, it could be due to one of these common reasons: 

  • A product has not been added to Showcase
    • If this is the case, add the product to Showcase first and then tag
  • TikTok hasn’t updated yet
    • If this is the case, wait a few hours and try again
  • A product is new or not yet searchable
    • If this is the case, search the full product name or ID

Q: Why can I see a product but can’t add it to my Showcase or videos?

A: If you can see a product in the TikTok Shop Marketplace but can’t add it to your Showcase or content, TikTok may still be syncing your access. This is common right after approval or when new products are added.

Q: Can I tag multiple products in one video?

A: No. You can only tag ONE product per video. If you want to feature and tag more than one product in a video, we recommend using bundles for this content when possible. 

Q: What products are available to sell on TikTok Shop?

A: select group of Amare’s top-performing and priority products are currently available on TikTok Shop. These products are chosen based on demand, content performance, and platform strategy. Additional products may be added in the future.

Q: How often should I post TikTok Shop content?

A: See below recommended guidelines for post frequency: 

  • Minimum: 1–2 times per week
  • Recommended: 3–5 times per week
  • High growth: 5–7 times per week (if sustainable) 

Q: Why did I get a violation from TikTok?

A: There are several common reasons for a violation:

  • Product not clearly shown
  • Product not discussed in video
  • Exaggerated or non-compliant claims
  • Tagging videos older than 30 days

Q: Can I talk about a product without showing it?

A: No, the product must be clearly visible in the video.

Compliance

Q: What should I avoid saying to remain compliant?

A: To remain compliant, you should avoid the following:

  • Income or recruiting claims
  • Medical claims
  • Before and after transformations
  • Sending users off TikTok to shop

Q: What claims can I make about what Amare products do?

A: You can only use approved Amare product language. Do not state or imply that any product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease.

Q: Can I share my personal experience using Amare products?

A: Yes, as long as your experience is truthful, reflects your own personal use, and is consistent with the approved potential benefits described in official Amare product materials you can share your personal experience. You must not make claims beyond what is approved. When sharing your experience, include the statement: “Individual experiences vary.”

Q: Do I need to disclose my relationship with Amare when posting on TikTok Shop?

A: Yes. All posts promoting Amare products must clearly disclose your relationship with the brand. Use #ad or other terms to identify your connection such as #amarebrandpartner.

Q: How can I speak compliantly about weight management products?
A: To speak compliantly about weight management products, be sure to avoid weight loss claims. Instead, use compliant language like:

  • “Supports fullness”
  • “Helps curb cravings”
  • “Helps keep me on track”

PV / CV & Commissions

Q: Do TikTok Shop sales count toward my business volume (Personal Volume/Commissionable Volume)

A: Yes, TikTok Shop orders are treated like personal orders and count toward your PV and CV. 

Q: Do I earn commissions on TikTok Shop sales?

A: Yes. You earn commissions in two ways:

  • TikTok commission (typically ~20%) paid directly through TikTok
  • Amare commissions based on CV (including Unilevel bonuses, if applicable)

TikTok commissions are paid approximately 30 days after the sale, as TikTok waits until the return period has passed before releasing payouts.

Q: Will TikTok Shop orders show in my Back Office?

A: Yes, TikTok Shop orders will appear in your order history in the Back Office like regular orders. This will include PV/CV and will be labeled as TikTok orders.

Q: Do TikTok Shop orders count toward bonuses or incentives?

A: Please see Compensation Plan Update, section XIV.

Q: Do TikTok Shop orders count toward bonuses or incentives?

A: Yes—but only certain bonuses and incentives. Please see Compensation Plan Update, section XIV.

TikTok Shop orders are treated as personal orders and do contribute to key areas of the compensation plan, including:

  • Personal Volume (PV) and rank qualification
  • Organizational Volume (OV)
  • Unilevel Bonus
  • Leadership pools (Mentor, Leader, Global Ambassador)
  • Go Forward Infinity Bonus
  • Minimum Monthly Reward and Road to Leader bonuses (if qualified)

However, they do NOT count toward several other bonuses and incentive programs, including:

  • First Order Bonus
  • Daily Pay
  • Me and Three Bonus
  • Focus on Five Bonus
  • Customer Bonus payouts
  • Path to Paradise points
  • Subscribe & Save rewards

TikTok Shop orders help you build volume, rank, and earn core commissions, but they don’t count toward enrollment-based or customer-based bonuses and incentives.

Q: What happens if a TikTok Shop order is refunded or canceled?

A: If a TikTok Shop order is refunded or canceled, we will treat this as a normal return order. If the order is cancelled within the same month, the volume will be deducted accordingly. If it is cancelled the following month, a clawback will occur. 

Q: When will I see my TikTok Shop orders reflected in the Back Office?

A: TikTok Shop orders may take some time to appear in your Back Office. Please allow processing time before reaching out for support (up to 24 hour).

Q: What if my TikTok Shop sale isn’t showing up in Amare Back Office?

A: TikTok Shop sales can be delayed for the following reasons:

  • Your TikTok handle wasn’t added to the sale, or the handle provided does not match yours exactly
  • TikTok didn’t pass the creator info to Amare correctly
  • The order is still processing.

For any of the above reasons, your order may be temporarily unassigned and reviewed manually.

Q: Why do I need to add my TikTok handle to the Back Office?

A: Your TikTok handle is how Amare matches sales to your account. If your handle isn’t added correctly to the Back Office, your orders may not be correctly attributed to you.

A: To add your TikTok handle in the Back Office, follow the steps below:

  • My Account
  • Social Media 
  • Add your TikTok handle (ex: @yourhandle)

LIVE Selling

Q: Can I send people to external links during a TikTok LIVE?

A: No, you can only send people to TikTok Shop links. Driving traffic off-platform can result in violations. 

Q: How long should I stay on TikTok LIVE?

A: It is recommended to stay on TikTok LIVE for at least 30 minutes, though 60–90 minutes is optimal for performance.

Q: When do sales usually start during a TikTok LIVE?

A: Sales usually start 20–40 minutes into a TikTok LIVE. This is why 60-90 minutes is considered an optimal length, and ending your LIVE too early can limit conversions.

Q: Should I go LIVE longer than 90 minutes?

A: Yes, many top creators go live for 2–3 hours for maximum reach.

Product Availability & Platform Issues

Q: Why can’t I find certain products on TikTok Shop?

A: The following are common reasons why you can’t find certain products:

  • New products may be delayed in appearing after they’ve been added
  • Search prioritizes top products
  • TikTok Shop is currently US-only

Q: Why do my videos have zero views?

A: If you find your videos have zero or low views, this may be due to TikTok outages or algorithm issues. In this case, we recommend waiting 24–72 hours and reposting your content. 

Sales & Support

Q: How are sales and commissions tracked in TikTok?

A: TikTok tracks sales through your unique links. Commissions are paid directly through TikTok.

Q: Will pricing be different on TikTok Shop?

A: No. Pricing on TikTok Shop remains consistent with Amare pricing, and promotions will be communicated clearly.
